The Impressive Interior of the New Chevrolet Silverado

The Chevrolet Silverado is a power house that’s withstood the tests of time. From 2010 to 2022, it consistently sold over 370,000 units yearly in the US, with a peak of 600,544 in 2015.

There’s no doubt that this light-duty truck will help you accomplish everything you wish, no matter how rugged your lifestyle. But it’s important that you stay comfortable while doing so, and the 2023 Silverado will ensure you do.

Are you interested in buying this truck now? Then read on to find out more about its interior.

The Cabin

The new Chevrolet Silverado can be configured in many ways, from plain and stripped down to upgraded and full of features. Regardless of what you choose, the cabin is very roomy and will seat between three to six people.

The main material inside is hard plastic, but these are found mostly in untouched places. So you don’t have to worry about discomfort while sitting in the Silverado. Some of the higher trims have wood and aluminum accents, which give your truck a luxurious look.

Altogether, this means the 2023 model is more upscale than the previous years’ trucks. Chevy gives drivers the much-needed updated look for this pickup.

The Infotainment System

The infotainment system will make every ride so fun, you’ll never want to get out. This user-friendly system has a touchscreen that’s either 7 or 13.4 inches, depending on the trim you pick.

The standard system has wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as a two-speaker system, two USB ports, and Bluetooth. Upgraded infotainment systems in the Silverado have wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six and seven-speaker sound systems, six USB ports in total, satellite radio, and a wifi hotspot.

If you want even more features for your infotainment system, then you can get push-button start and remote keyless entry.

Safety Features

The NHTSA has given the 2023 Chevy Silverado an overall safety rating of 5 out of 5 stars, and for good reason. It comes standard with a rearview camera, automatic high-beam headlights, forward automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and the Teen Driver suite.

If you don’t have too much faith in your parking skills, or want to be extra-safe, then you can get the surround-view parking camera system, as well as the rearview mirror with an integrated camera and parking sensors (front and rear).

For driving with ease, enjoy adaptive cruise control and Super Cruise. The latter is a semi-autonomous driving mode that’ll make long road trips easy.

Is the Chevrolet Silverado Right for You?

After reading about the interior of this pickup, don’t you think the Chevrolet Silverado is perfect? Not only is it a workhorse, but it’s also got plenty inside to keep you comfortable and entertained for your rides.

While there may be other pickup truck choices out there, this might be the one for you. In that case, head to your nearest dealer to have a wonderful test drive.

5 Things You Should Know About The Chevrolet Trailblazer

According to sales figures released by Chevrolet USA, 90,163 Chevrolet Trailblazers were sold in 2021. The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a modern SUV that is perfect for the daily driver.

Whether you’re looking for a:

  • compact SUV,
  • a modern SUV,
  • or an affordable SUV

The Chevrolet Trailblazer fits the bill nicely. Available with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) train, it is an SUV that you can depend on to provide traction.

It’s also perfect for those who love adventure

But what do you need to know about purchasing the Trailblazer? Let’s investigate trim levels.

Chevrolet Trailblazer Trim Levels

The Trailblazer range offers three levels of trim. The entry-level is LT, which comes with an ECOTEC 1.3L turbo engine. The paint finish is single-tone, and no adaptive cruise control package.

But you do get 17″ silver painted aluminum wheels, LED running lights, and a rear vision camera – as standard.

With the ACTIV and RS, you get a selection of two-tone paint options. The RS is the sportier version, with the ACTIV offering a more off-road capable version.

There are many feature options with the ACTIV offering a functional front skid plate.

Engine and Fuel Economy

Currently, there are two engine options in the range. The 1.2L and 1.3L turbo, with the smaller of the two, producing 102kW and 137hp, with the latter pushing out 115 KW and 154 hp.

Paired with its 9-speed gearbox, you should be able to easily keep up with highway speeds. Fuel economy is good, with a fantastic 29 mpg for the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

The fuel efficiency is due to the great use of the turbo. Also, the vehicles come with three driving modes.

Passenger and Cargo Space

As a compact SUV, the Chevrolet Trailblazer has an excellent cargo management system. With a 40/60 back seat split, you should easily squeeze in those slightly larger loads.

Helping with loading is the flat floor storage, with the maximum cargo area length being 8.5 ft. This enormous length is due to the fact you can fold down the front passenger seat.

The vehicle can comfortably seat up to five adults.

With an available hands-free liftgate, you can quickly load up and go even when your hands are full.

Connectivity

Trailblazers have wireless phone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Also, specific models will come with wireless device charging and built-in Alexa.

SiriusXM will be built into all models and promises loads to listen to.

Safety

Standard safety features include a rear vision camera, rear seat reminder,  teen driver technology, and ten airbags.

Other features available include lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, and OnStar safety and security coverage.

As mentioned, selected vehicles will have adaptive cruise control.

Now, it’s always in your best interest to do loads of reading before buying a new car.

What’s New in the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado

The Chevy Silverado 1500 has long been regarded as one of the best in its class. The 2023 Chevrolet Silverado is a solid upgrade that keeps the best of last year’s equipment while making a number of interesting improvements. If you are in the market for a reliable and powerful truck, it’s hard to look past the Chevrolet Silverado.

In this blog post, we will take a closer look at the new Silverado, including its highlights and lowlights, and give our verdict on where it stands in the competitive truck market. Local Car Shopper is your premier choice when it comes to honest opinions about all the latest models in the market. Let’s get started.

2023 Chevrolet Silverado Overview

The new Chevy Silverado 1500 is available in a range of trims starting with the base-level Work Truck and Custom. The LT model is a step up and boasts a more impressive interior (and may be the best option for most people). Other trims include the Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, and High Country.

There is also a range of engines available, which means that there is a Silverado for any size of job. This includes a turbocharged four-cylinder, two V-8s, and a Duramax diesel 3.0-liter inline-six. The top-of-the-line High Country model can go from zero to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds, so it’s absolutely no slouch.

What’s New for 2023?

As we have highlighted, most of the equipment in the Silverado stays the same as last year’s model. That said, there are increases in both the power and torque of its Duramax diesel powertrain.

The updated turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six Duramax, which is available for the Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, and High Country, gains 35 pound-feet of torque and 28 horsepower for an improved output of 495 pound-feet of torque and 305 horsepower.

New fuel injectors and pistons with a revised combustion bowl also help to give this year’s diesel more muscle than before.

Highlights and Lowlights

What we love most about this year’s Chevrolet Silverado is the excellent powertrains, as well as the substantial towing capacity, which give this truck a feeling of power and performance. What’s more, the huge infotainment screen and well-designed interior always make for an enjoyable journey.

Compared to some other trucks, such as the Ram 1500, the Silverado doesn’t have the smoothest ride. Still, the Silverado is a tough truck that is well capable of tackling any terrain.

Our Verdict on the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado

The strongest attribute in the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado lineup is, in our opinion, the engine lineup. You’ll appreciate the crisp acceleration and powerful performance, as well as the spacious bed options and the six-function tailgate. On the whole, it’s easy to recommend the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado.

Silverado vs Silverado HD: The Differences You Should Know About

Can you believe that Chevrolet was founded all the way back in 1911?

Although their cars have evolved a lot over the years, one thing that has always remained true is that Chevrolet always prioritizes quality and driver experience. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your current ride, then you might be wondering which model is right for you.

The Silverado 1500 has been generating a lot of attention, but does it live up to the hype? Keep reading this guide that breaks down the key features of the Silverado 1500 and the Silverado HD models so you can figure out which vehicle is the best for you.

Starting Prices

As you can expect, the HD models come with a heftier price tag thanks to the upgrades. The Silverado 1500 has a starting price of $28,900 while the 2500 and 3500 HD models have starting prices of $34,700 and $35,900 respectively. It’s up to you to weigh the added features to determine if you want to shell out a little extra cash.

Trim Levels

You might be surprised to learn that the Silverado 1500 has more trim options than the HD models. This is a bonus if the trim is important to you. The Silverado 1500 has eight different trim levels to choose from while the 2500 and 3500 models only have five.

Engine Options

If you’re looking for a vehicle that can do it all, then you can’t go wrong with the standard Silverado 1500. It comes with six different engine options that are all great for normal driving, off-roading, and even towing. If 13,000 pounds isn’t even towing power for you, then buying an HD diesel engine will allow you to tow up to 18,500 pounds.

Size

In order to accommodate larger engines, the 2500 and 3500 HD models are bigger and heavier than the 1500 version. The 1500 is a half-ton vehicle while the HD models are three-quarter-ton and one-ton respectively. Even though the HD vehicles are larger on the outside, it’s important to note that the indoor cabin spaces are essentially the same across the board.

Mileage

People who don’t want to spend a fortune at the gas station need to pay attention to mileage. The 1500 Silverado will get you 23 miles per gallon in the city and up to 33 mpg on the highway. The HD models will only get you around 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.

Other Notable Features

One interesting thing that’s worth noting is that the Silverado 1500 has a multi-flex tailgate and 22-inch wheels while the HD models do not. Aside from this, there aren’t any other big differences between these three vehicles.

Now You Know the Differences Between the 1500 Silverado and the Silverado HD Models

The 1500 Silverado and the 2500 and 3500 Silverado HD models are all great. This guide will help you choose your perfect match.
